In the aftermath of my Uncle Tommy passing, I have decided to start a blog. Why? Maybe it's because I never met my grandmother Winnie & I have always wondered what she was like? Maybe it's because I was their only grandchild born with the Faughn family name? Maybe it's because I worry that I will allow others in my family to pass that have answers to my family history?
I'm not sure right now the real reason. But I am certain that I want to journal about my family. I want to have stories to share and to remember them in my old age.
